Women Empowering Women is a council of executive women from the top 20 U.S. banks, servicers, and lenders that work together to identify solutions for positive change and develop opportunities for female professionals through collaboration, mentorship, and education.
Our Mission
The women of WEW strive to support one another through peer-to-peer collaboration and help other women succeed both internally and externally at their organizations. Our goal is to ensure we expand the boardroom to have more females at the table, create an atmosphere of diversity and inclusion, and establish the building blocks for future generations of women to be empowered in the workplace.

President & Founder
Cristy Ward is the President and Founder of the WEW. Cristy founded the organization in 2019 after seeing a need for more peer-to-peer collaboration among female executives and leaders in the mortgage industry. She is proud of the accomplishments of the WEW and the impact the organization has had on female colleagues and the mortgage industry as a whole.
